Marin County

Marin County launched the Green Business Program in 2002 in partnership with the City of Novato. The Marin County Board of Supervisors recognized their first Green Businesses on April 15, 2002. There are now more than 300 businesses and 7 public agencies certified in Marin. The Program operates countywide and is open to all businesses and government agencies.
